Same Game
[Verse 1]
You call it wild when I walk my fire,
But praise your boys when they feed desire.
You take your trophies, line your bed,
Then shame the girls who do instead.
[Verse 2]
You want the taste, but not the truth,
You love the sin but not the proof.
You chase the thrill and call it pride,
I do the same and I’m crucified.
[Pre-Chorus]
But I’m not playin’ quiet,
I’m not your walk of shame.
I’m the spark that lights the riot —
And I don’t need your blame.
[Chorus]
If you can love ’em and leave ’em,
Then baby, so can I.
If you can play ’em and please ’em,
Then don’t act so surprised.
It’s the same game, same skin,
Same pleasure that we’re in.
You call yourself a stud,
But when I do it, I’m a sin.
It’s the same game —
And I’m just playin’ it better.
[Verse 3]
You hide behind that locker-room pride,
But I know what’s on your mind inside.
You want a goddess, not a ghost,
Someone who burns, someone who boasts.
[Verse 4]
So when I move, it’s not for you,
It’s for the woman that I grew into.
My body’s mine, my rules, my voice,
And every time I say yes — it’s my choice.
[Pre-Chorus]
Don’t call it dirty when I shine,
Don’t call it lust when it’s divine.
You had your say for far too long,
Now it’s my turn to own the song.
[Bridge]
They taught me shame, I turned it into power,
Every touch, every taste, every hour.
I’m not your secret, I’m not your blame,
I’m just a woman who knows her name.
[Final Chorus]
If you can love ’em and leave ’em,
Then baby, so can I.
If freedom’s what you’re feelin’,
Then don’t you dare deny —
It’s the same game, same sin,
Same fire that we’re in.
You call yourself a legend,
But I’m the one they’ll remember.
It’s the same game —
And I’m just playin’ it better.

Same Game
The idea for this song hit me on a day when I was watching a close friend get torn apart for something a man would’ve been celebrated for.
She wasn’t hurting anyone.
She wasn’t lying, cheating, or breaking hearts.
She was simply living her life — confident, open, and honest about what she wanted.
But instead of respect, she got labels.
Ugly ones.
Words like “slut” and “whore,” thrown at her by the same people who called the men doing the exact same thing “studs,” “players,” and “legends.”
The double standard didn’t just bother me — it made me angry.
Because I knew her heart.
I knew her strength.
And I knew that the judgment she was facing had nothing to do with morality… and everything to do with hypocrisy.
So I wrote Same Game for her — and for every woman who’s ever been shamed for playing by rules men get praised for bending.
This song is her reclaiming the narrative.
Her saying:
“If you’re allowed to have freedom, pleasure, and pride — so am I.”
And honestly?
She wasn’t trying to be bold.
She was just trying to be equal.
