Lyrics
I Wouldn’t Change a Thing
[Verse 1]
I could’ve taken the easy road,
Lighter heart and a lighter load.
Could’ve avoided the sharpest turns,
And skipped the bridges I had to burn.
[Verse 2]
I could’ve stayed where the water’s still,
Never climbed that jagged hill.
Could’ve played it safe and played it smart,
And saved the pieces of my heart.
[Chorus]
But I wouldn’t change a thing, not a single day,
Not a single scar along the way.
Every tear was a lesson learned,
Every fire was a life I earned.
Yeah, the highs were high and the lows were low,
But they made me the man I’ve come to know.
I wouldn’t change a thing.
[Verse 3]
I see the gray in the morning light,
The heavy ghosts of a restless night.
But I see the strength in the way I stand,
The calloused truth in these open hands.
[Verse 4]
If I went back to the very start,
With a map of life and a hollow heart,
I’d choose the storm and I’d choose the rain,
I’d take the joy and I’d take the pain.
[Chorus]
Because I wouldn’t change a thing, not a single day,
Not a single scar along the way.
Every tear was a lesson learned,
Every fire was a life I earned.
Yeah, the highs were high and the lows were low,
But they made me the man I’ve come to know.
I wouldn’t change a thing.
[Bridge]
It wasn’t perfect, it wasn’t kind,
But it’s the only life I want to find.
The broken parts and the jagged lines,
Are exactly where the sunlight shines.
[Chorus]
No, I wouldn’t change a thing, not a single day,
Not a single scar along the way.
Every tear was a lesson learned,
Every fire was a life I earned.
Yeah, the highs were high and the lows were low,
But they made me the man I’ve come to know.
I wouldn’t change a thing.
[Outro]
No, I wouldn’t change a thing.
I’d do it all again.
Every single thing.

I Wouldn’t Change a Thing
There comes a point in life where you look back at everything you survived—
the heartbreaks, the betrayals, the losses that knocked the wind out of you—
and instead of wishing they never happened,
you start to see how they built the person you became.
This song was born from that realization.
For years, I felt like life kept handing me blows I didn’t deserve:
people walking out with no warning, people I loved turning cold,
getting shamed, gaslit, blamed for things I never did,
carrying weight I never should’ve carried alone.
But somewhere along the way, pain stopped being something
that broke me… and started being something that shaped me.
Every scar sharpened me.
Every disappointment pushed me further.
Every heartbreak cracked me open just enough
for strength to grow in the empty spaces.
I Wouldn’t Change a Thing came from looking at all of it—
the storms, the mistakes, the loneliness, the tears—
and realizing I wouldn’t be the man I am now
without walking through every one of those fires.
It’s not a song about pain.
It’s a song about transformation.
About owning the journey.
About finally loving who you became
because of everything you had to survive.
And standing here now, stronger, clearer, and more grounded than ever…
I genuinely wouldn’t rewrite a single part of it.
