Worth It
[Verse 1]
Lately, I’ve been looking in the mirror,
Tryna see myself a little clearer.
All the things I used to hide away,
Now I’m learning they’re okay.
[Verse 2]
I used to chase approval like a dream,
Falling for the words I didn’t need.
But now I know, now I see,
Everything I need is inside of me.
[Pre-Chorus]
I don’t need a spotlight, don’t need a stage,
Don’t need a million voices knowing my name.
All I ever needed was to look inside,
To find the love I tried to hide.
[Chorus]
I’m worth it, yeah, I know it now,
Ain’t gonna let nobody pull me down.
Took some time, but I finally see,
The best kind of love starts inside of me.
Oh, I’m worth it, every single part,
Don’t need permission just to love my heart.
No more waiting, no more doubt,
I found my light and I’m shining now.
[Verse 3]
Used to think that love was something earned,
Like a lesson I just couldn’t learn.
But now I know it don’t work that way,
I don’t need to prove my place.
[Verse 4]
No more searching, no more games,
No more chasing someone else’s way.
I’m standing tall, I’m standing free,
Finally loving who I’m meant to be.
[Bridge]
No more second-guessing, no more pain,
I don’t need a reason to feel okay.
Every scar, every fall,
They made me who I am after all.
[Final Chorus]
I’m worth it, yeah, I know it now,
Ain’t gonna let nobody pull me down.
Took some time, but I finally see,
The best kind of love starts inside of me.
Oh, I’m worth it, every single part,
Don’t need permission just to love my heart.
No more waiting, no more doubt,
I found my light and I’m shining now.
[Outro]
Yeah, I’m shining now…

Worth It
There comes a moment in life when something inside you just… clicks.
For me, it was the realization that I’d spent years twisting myself into shapes that weren’t mine — trying to please people who were never going to be satisfied anyway. I kept shrinking, smoothing out the edges, chasing approval I should’ve been giving myself all along.
And then one day I just stopped.
No big explosion. No dramatic fight.
Just a quiet, steady truth:
I’m fine exactly as I am — and if someone doesn’t like it, that’s on them.
That shift is what sparked Worth It.
It didn’t come from heartbreak or pain like some of my other songs.
It came from liberation.
From finally dropping the weight of everybody else’s opinions
and choosing myself without apology.
Writing it helped me reclaim parts of me I’d been hiding for years —
not because they were broken,
but because I hadn’t learned to love them yet.
Worth It is my reminder, to myself and to anyone who needs it,
that confidence isn’t arrogance,
and loving yourself isn’t selfish,
it’s survival.
And I’m done dimming my light for anyone.
